Alone, Together (2020-2023)

For this brief instance,
I found myself distant;
in a little town,
quietly slowing down;
past a long bright day,
inviting me to stay;
"guest of the borough!"
"please rest till tomorrow!"
greetings without fear,
green gardens of old dears;
blue dreams of elsewhere–
enduring endless stares.
